ESU Education Incentive

ESU is introducing the ESU Education Incentive as a form of encouragement and support for ESU members who upgrade themselves on their own accord.

Upon completion of course and meeting the eligibility criteria, the successful member will receive an education incentive ammounting to 10% of the course fee or $50 whichever is lower.  This is on top of the NETF grant, SEP and SPUR funding the member is receiving.

Special Consideration:  Mature Members

As a show of encouragement for mature members who are less educated to upgrade, the Education Incentive will also be extended to members who receive company sponsorship to attend certifiable courses as these courses are meant to increase their employability.

To qualify, the members must meet the following criteria:

a.  Aged 40 and above

b.  highest Education level is Secondary and below i.e. no 'O' level holders

Discounts for MDIS Courses

MDIS has extended a series of discounts for ESU members and the discounts are as follows:

10% discount for all MDIS Public Seminars at Dhoby Ghaut

10% discount to enrol for Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (CIDTT).  This course is for anyone who needs to be competent in carrying out learning and development activities professionally and productively.  If there is a group of 5 participants, MDIS will offer a 15% discount for the course.  This discount is valid till 30 July 2009.
